How the AI optimizer works

The optimizer is the heart of ShiftHash. Here is exactly what it does.

Every 15 minutes it evaluates 12 proof-of-work coins — BTC, BCH, LTC, DOGE, KAS, ETC, RVN, ZEC, DASH, ERG, FLUX and DGB — and scores each one by estimated net yield per watt per day, after a 1% pool fee. It moves your hashpower to the best-scoring coin only when that coin beats your current coin by at least 5% of estimated net advantage. Smaller differences are treated as noise and ignored.

Each plan tier has a daily switch budget: $20 allows 1 switch per day, $100 allows 5, $300 allows 15, $500 allows 30, and $1000 allows 60. Only successful switches count, and the budget resets at midnight UTC. Holding more than one contract stacks the budgets.

You can also lock the optimizer to a single coin. Locking pauses auto-switching entirely until you unlock it.

Two notes:

- FLUX is on the list of coins the product knows about, but it is not scored for switching yet, because no reliable free difficulty and reward feed was found for it.
- ETH is not on the list at all — it is proof-of-stake, so it cannot be mined with hashpower.

Your earnings are credited in BTC regardless of which coin the fleet mines, and you can take payout in BTC or USDT. Every figure the optimizer shows is an estimate, never guaranteed profit.
